“ This Early Bird just caught a couple more worms! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Sourdough with the strawberry jam (is this all home made?) ... Delish! Warmed up half and half for the coffee... As well as the refill... Impressive! Water seems filtered... Wonderful! Music set to perfect volume. You can notice it if you want (and you may want to because the playlist was cool), but let it fade into the background if you're having a conversation... Excellente! The menu was short and sweet with only good options... Wow! We'll be back to try the rest ”
“ First time in this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back. The waffle was so delicious and the blueberries tasted so fresh. The sausage was good but in my opinion missing a little bit more flavor. I didn't really eat the potatoes because by that time I was so full. The few bites I did take, I really did enjoy. The seasoning on the potatoes was spot on and the crunch was there. I did take some sweet potato fries home, I ate them later on and it was good, I will be ordering those again, I'm sure they are even better fresh. Service was amazing, the hostess and the server were very attentive, and kind. The server has no problem answering my question. ”
“ The food here was very delicious. The café looks new, very trendy and clean. I really don't think that you can go wrong with any choice from the menu. I would for sure recommend this breakfast café and definitely will be returning. ”
“ First visit here and will not be the last! The food was amazing! The interior decor, booths, tables, and chairs are also super chic! ”
“ Food was amazing! I got the Red chilaquiles, they were good in flavor and were not too spicy. For drink I got the caramel macchiato iced which was very good. Our server was nice and attentive, the atmosphere is very delightful and calm. Will definitely come back (: ”
“ Craving a brunch! Just walked-in on a Saturday during lunch time and was able to get seated right away for a party of 2. There was plenty of seating and even for larger parties. Was greeted at the table in a timely manner and started off with a sunrise sparkler mocktail (orange juice x soda was nice and refreshing). For the meal, I got the The Birdie Waffle (essentially chicken and waffles - chicken was crispy/seasoned well and cooked nicely) and a side of 2 scrambled eggs (fluffy and even topped off with some greens). Reasonable priced for brunch in the Richmond area and family friendly. Restrooms - Clean Parking - Free within the plaza ”
“ Some of the best halal brunch I've had in a while, the whole fam loved it. Overall this place is 8.5/10. They have a lot of delicious savory and sweet options. Make sure to ask for the halal options, only certain meats are halal and they do serve non halal meats as well. ------------ I got the shrimp and grits (with beef bacon) and it was honestly life changing. I've never had grits before, and as someone who likes to have a more savory breakfast this really hit the spot, 10/10. The coffee was an average 6/10, I don't think anyone really comes to these types of places for the coffee anyways. Highlights from the fam include the Birdie waffle (9/10). Overall had a great experience and service was great. The only problem is that this place is so far from where I live in Houston . ”
“ It's solid food and I'm glad they open earlier now compare to when they first open but 7 AM is still not consider "early bird" to me. Service is okay. There was a lot of empty tables but wasn't used for whatever reason even though it got crowded in the waiting area by the door and host station. It's weird that they didn't have a specific person to deal with all the drinks, each server had to make their own and I don't think that's efficient. I get it for fast drinks like tea but management should consider a more efficient way for busy brunch weekends. The nest Benedict (normal egg Benedict) was just okay. Perfect shaped, pouched egg but it was overcooked. A perfect egg Benedict has perfect runny pouched egg that keeps its shape. Pancake was just any typical pancake you can get anywhere. Blueberry lemonade was just mediocre, blueberries could have been crushed more so I can easily use my straw. My friend's to-go-choices are their avocado toast and chicken and waffle. They're still relevantly new so I give them a pass. I like that it's in this book of the neighborhood and my Muslim friends have a place to eat breakfast without having to worry if it's halal or not. Still a great place for a girls brunch or a brunch for the locals in this neighborhood. Prices are decent. Ambiance is nice but I can see some wear and tear already on their chairs/benches. ”
“ Found Early Bird Cafe on a whim and stopped in for breakfast. Ordered the sunrise pancakes and the early bird breakfast. The pancakes were made to perfection, fluffy and flavorful with the right amount of crispiness. The early bird breakfast was underwhelming. The potato hash was incredibly salty and overcooked. We ended up letting the server know and she brought out fresh dishes of the hash. The second plates were salty as well, perhaps they are just heavy handed with the salt. Couldn't enjoy them so we didn't eat them. What they did well with was the clean restaurant and the ambiance, which is nicely decorated with tones of blue and a minimalistic feel. Additionally, the golden spice latte and the chai were delicious. The drinks were crafted to perfection. While Early Bird Cafe didn't move me to the point of wanting to return, the things listed above are worthy of being highlighted positively. Friendly staff. Check them out. ”
